In the way that an expecting mother prepares for her first born child, with all the love, expense, and time put into buying clothes, putting together a nursery and expending every asset to its fullest. In this way, and even much greater, God prepared a place for us called earth. 


His love for you is so great, so unending, and so incomprehensible! He created this earth, plants, animals, the seas, and much more for your enjoyment. Why? Because He loves you.

This is just one way we get a glimpse into the love God has for us.

Pastor McCurdy became the Pastor of Gospel Light Baptist Church in January of 2018 after serving as the interim pastor for one year. He and his wife Betty have four children and have been married for 42 years.
